Hello my beautiful crocheters, today I’ll show you how to crochet a lace scarf. If you are looking to crochet lace scarf patterns this crochet Lace scarf is the perfect crochet scarf easy pattern to go for this summer. This crochet Lace scarf is the perfect free crochet patterns if you are a beginner and you want to learn how to crochet a lace stitch that looks gorgeous and is not very hard to crochet. The pattern only uses two stitches: single crochet and double crochet.

If you are looking for how to crochet a lace scarf this is an easy pattern to go. This crochet scarf lace pattern has a chart too, so it’s much easier to follow, I do prefer a chart when I’m crocheting. And the video tutorial it’s on my to-do list, so keep an eye on my YouTube channel.

This pattern looks very beautiful if you use a thin yarn, but if you’re not comfortable with this kind of yarn you can use a thicker one, a DK, but you’ll have to adjust the chain number.

I’ve crocheted this lace scarf for my beautiful sister and she is crazy in love with it. She wears it all the time: in spring and autumn as a lovely scarf, in cool summer evenings to cover her shoulders, and in winter: the city slicker knot looks lovely with her coat.

Tip: How to make a city slicker knot: fold the scarf in half lengthwise and wrap it around your neck, then pull the loose ends through the loop that was created by the fold.

The size of the crochet Lace scarf: is 200 cm/ almost 79 inches, and 47 cm/18.5 inches in width.

For my crochet Lace scarf, I’ve used 400g (8x 50g) Pure cotton fine (50g= 170m/ 1.76oz= 185 yards), and a 3.5 mm hook

cotton yarnThis is very high-quality cotton yarn.

This yarn is made from 100% combed Turkish cotton, which is soft, flexible, and exceptionally durable. Textiles in Turkish cotton stay beautiful for many years and only get softer with use. This yarn also excels when it comes to its absorbing powers, but is quick-drying at the same time.

The color chart includes plenty of gorgeous colors, you have to decide what color you like and get started. Here you can buy this yarn: http://bit.ly/32kTefb

Abbreviations:

ch= chain;

sc= single crochet;

dc= double crochet.

The pattern uses US crochet terminology.

Repeat the pattern from row 2 until you reach the desired length. I’ve made mine 200 cm in length.

The edge:

Finish with a round of single crochet on the right side. The single crochet edge is an easy way to add stability and flatten curling pieces. To work this single crochet edge, always insert your hook from front to back under both loops of the previous crochet stitches. Crochet this edge from the right side of the piece and from right to left. If you crochet with your left hand, reverse the direction.

You can wash it by hand or in a washing machine at 30 degrees and block it (if you used cotton you can iron it). Now you can enjoy your new and beautiful scarf!
