This is my first triangle scarf, I fall in love with this pattern and I just knew I’ll make myself a scarf and what colors I will use for it. I had a small quantity of cotton left from my crochet cardigan (https://turcoazcuvanilie.ro/2018/09/20/cocoon-shrug-cardigan/)      and from a dress I’ve made for my sister witch combined perfectly with my new color obsession: mustard/ gold

As you can see in the picture, this was all the yarn I have used for this scarf: approximately 100 g per ball.

For this scarf you will need:

300 g cotton (use your favorite brand);

2 mm hook (or what hook size is indicated on the label).

Here is a recommendation for the yarn you could use for this scarf:

 This is a very high quality cotton yarn. The mercerisation process gives cotton a fantastic sheen and makes it even more durable.The color chart includes these 3 beautiful colors for this pattern. Here you can buy the yarn: http://www.iceyarns.com/git/350/camilla-cotton-burgundy

If you want to make this scarf for winter you can choose a wool blend yarn: 60% merino wool, 40% acrylic- the amount of acrylic makes the yarn much more resistant and durable. Here you can buy the yarn: http://www.iceyarns.com/git/350/merino-gold-cafe-latte-fnt2-53824

The chart:

The chart for the rose:

Sometimes I make the flower bigger, I make 5 rounds for the petal :

For round 4 of the petal: make for each petal 6 ch, and then make each petal in this way: sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 7 tr, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc;

For round 5 of the petal: make 7 ch for each petal, then make for each petal: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 9tr, 1 dc, 1hdc, 1sc.

The base of the flower:

For the base of the flower you have to crochet how many rounds you need to cover the back of the flower ( for mine I’ve made 3 rounds).

Sew the base on the back of the flower and then sew the tassel on the back of the flower.

If it’s easier for you to learn from a video, I’ve made a video tutorial to show you how it’s done, just hit “play”.

I hope you will enjoy this pattern like I did. It’s easy to crochet and it will be a beautiful item for you or a lovely gift for someone you love.
