If you’re looking for how to crochet snowflake Christmas ornaments these free and easy crochet snowflake patterns are the perfect project to make. This is my collection of crochet snowflakes which has all my simple crochet patterns, quick and easy to crochet.
Because never it’s too early to start crocheting for Christmas I’ve already started to crochet my gifts for my loved ones and of course, I’m crocheting my snowflake Christmas tree decorations. You can crochet snowflakes for sale, you can add them to other projects, attach them to gift bags, string them into garlands, or use them as ornaments.
Every year in December I crochet snowflakes for all of my friends in the colors they choose for the decoration of the Christmas Tree. This is one of my favorite things to crochet in winter. I love white snowflakes and I think they bring a very cozy atmosphere when it’s cold and snowy outside, and you are safe and warm at home. They will look magical on a Christmas tree, or as a festive table decoration.
The patterns are very easy to crochet, the charts only use simple stitches: single crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet so if you know how to make these stitches you won’t have problems crocheting these beautiful snowflakes.
For my crochet snowflakes, I’m using and a 2mm hook.
This mercerized cotton yarn of the highest quality is perfect for these crochet snowflakes, it has a glossy surface and is extra strong. This yarn is especially suitable for crocheting lace, tablecloths, placemats, fine crochet decorations, and much more. Daphne 100% mercerized cotton comes in a classic thickness, suitable for crochet and knitting projects on a thin hook. has a fantastic color intensity as mercerized yarn absorbs color better. In addition, the glossy surface gives the colors an exceptional depth.

Hello, you can find the PDF pattern at the end of the article, just click the link.
Thank you so much for sharing these charts! Do you have any photos of the finished products and/or measurements of the final snowflakes. I made one and it seemed much smaller than the snowflakes I usually make so I’m not sure if I misread the chart or if they are meant to be small. Thank you again!
Thank you so much for sharing. Just what I was hoping to find. These will decorate my tree this year plus a few may find their way onto a package or two.
Thank you! I’m very happy 🙂
What size hook and how do I save this pattern
The size of the hook depends of the yarn you use, on the label of the yarn always writes the size of the hook you have to use.
