Every year I’m crocheting new Christmas Tree ornaments for me and my family and this year I’m making a lot of hearts and of course some snowflakes to complete my older ones, but this year I’m crocheting them only for me. Given the world situation, we won’t be seeing our family or friends this holiday.
I always enjoy crocheting my own Christmas Tree ornaments and I can’t wait for December to come and start to work on all those ornaments. Especially I love to crochet snowflakes, but this year I wanted to make something special so I choose these hearts.
These crochet Heart Christmas Tree ornaments are very easy to crochet. The pattern only uses a single crochet stitch so is perfect if you are a beginner and want to crochet something nice for yourself and your friends.
This crochet heart works perfectly as a small gift for Valentine’s day for your loved one.

This crochet Heart looks so beautiful, is very easy to crochet and it can be used as a Christmas Tree ornament or as a key chain. This project is a fun and fast project to crochet for you or as a gift for your friends.
Sometimes I need something small to crochet on in between big projects and these crochet single heart Christmas tree ornaments are perfect if you need to take a break from your current project. For me to relax means to crochet something else. Sometimes I just need to take my mind off my current projects or I just need time to find inspirations! So this little and quick project is perfect even if I always have at least two or three projects at work. They are great stash buster projects and a relaxing one between those big crochet projects.
Materials:
For this project I’ve used this , a 2 mm hook, and polyester stuffing:
A very high-quality mercerized cotton yarn. The mercerisation process gives the cotton a fantastic sheen and makes it even more durable. Here you can find this yarn:

Round 5:
1ch, (2sc in 1 st)*2, 8 sc in the next sts, skip 2 sts, 8 sc in the next sts, (2sc in 1 st)* 3, 17 sc in the next sts (the last sc in the 2 skipped ch), 2 ch, 17 sc in the next sts (first sc in the 2 skipped ch), 2 sc in 1 st, slip stitch to finish the round.
You can crochet another round (round 6) making a round of single crochet just following every single crochet of the previous round, but you can skip this step.
After you finish the second heart, hold together the 2 hearts with the right side on the exterior. Crochet sc around the hearts held together, when you have 1-2 cm to crochet fill the heart with polyester stuffing.
For the handle, I’ve used golden strings bought with my Christmas tree ornaments.
If you crochet them for key chains you need to buy those special chains.
