The Grit crochet dish set is not only functional, but it can also add a touch of style to any kitchen decor, the set includes the free pattern for the dish towel, the hanging towel, and the dishcloth.
The Grit crochet stitch is perfect for household items and accessories (and is the perfect stitch for blankets too) provides a firm fabric with a textured surface and the items look beautiful and elegant. It is a textured stitch that creates a raised, bumpy surface that is highly durable and resistant to wear and tear. And if you use a good quality yarn you’ll end up with a premium and luxurious-looking set that makes a highly appreciated gift. This simple crochet pattern for the Grit crochet dish set works up quickly and easily, which is great if you need a last-minute gift! Crochet towels and crochet hanging towels are a great way to keep your kitchen clean and organized, and they can be made in a variety of colors and patterns to match your kitchen decor.
I recommend you use cotton yarn for your Grit dish crochet set, so your crochet dish or hand towel and dishcloth will be highly absorbent and can be washed and reused multiple times, making them a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to disposable paper towels or sponges.
For my Grit crochet dish set, I’ve used 300g of Pure Cotton Fine (6x 50g) (50g= 170m/ 1.76oz= 185 yards), a 3.5 mm hook, and a 20mm button.
This is a very high-quality cotton yarn. This yarn is made from 100% combed Turkish cotton, which is soft, flexible, and exceptionally durable. Textiles in Turkish cotton stay beautiful for many years and only get softer with use. This yarn also excels when it comes to its absorbing powers, but is quick-drying at the same time. The color chart includes plenty of gorgeous colors, you just have to decide what color you like and get started. You can buy this yarn HERE.
