Hello, my beautiful crocheters, today I will show you another baby blanket: Diamond Crochet Baby Blanket, a beautiful pattern with a wonderful texture: not too lacy not too textured. Very easy to crochet, the pattern only uses the double crochet stitch so is perfect if you are a beginner.
Little ones will love being wrapped in this lightweight, soft and stylish baby blanket.
This Diamond crochet baby blanket builds up super fast for those of you who don’t have the patience for larger or complicated projects. You can customize it easily to make it bigger or smaller, you only have to make the beginning chain a multiple of 10 chains plus 3 chains. To make it longer simply crochet for more rows.
This sweet little baby afghan is the perfect gift for baby showers, your new bundle of joy, or for birthdays of little ones. Or why not for your fur baby.
As you can see my boy loves it and he enjoys sleeping on it. He couldn’t wait to finish it so he can try it on. He was a little bit annoyed by me trying to take some beautiful pictures with him while he was asleep.
The light wasn’t too good so I was trying to set it up and he was bothered by me so I don’t have too many pictures with him to show you this time. He just got up, left the room, and continued his beauty sleep on my husband’s desk chair. He totally ignored me, he is so funny sometimes!
I love the color (a beautiful baby blue, unfortunately, the light wasn’t too good and I didn’t succeed to capture the true shade of the color) and I think is perfect for both sex: girl or boy, but you can choose any color you love for your blanket.
For my Diamond crochet baby blanket I’ve used: 400g of Pure cotton yarn (8x 50g) (50g= 170m/ 1.76oz= 185 yards) and a 3 mm hook.
This is very high-quality cotton yarn. This yarn is made from 100% combed Turkish cotton, which is soft, flexible, and exceptionally durable. Textiles in Turkish cotton stay beautiful for many years and only get softer with use. This yarn also excels when it comes to its absorbing powers, but is quick-drying at the same time. The color chart includes plenty of gorgeous colors, you just have to decide what color you like and get started. Here you can buy this yarn: http://bit.ly/3MP8khx
The blanket sizing:
Baby blanket: 91 cm x 91 cm / 36″x 36″;
Toddler blanket: 107 cm x 132 cm / 42″x 52″;
Lapghan: 91 cm x 122 cm / 36″x 48″;
Throw blanket: 132 cm x 152 cm / 52″x 60″;
Twin bed: 150 cm x 216 cm / 59″x 85″;
Full/ queen: 229 cm x 229 cm/ 90″x 90″;
King: 274 cm x 229 cm/ 108″x 90″.
Of course, you can adjust these sizes to your needs and crochet your blanket in any size you want.

Is there a written pattern? I can understand that chart. Doesn’t say where to place the 1st dc or anything. I’m confused 🤷🏻♀️
No written pattern for now. I’ll make a video next week, if I’ll make a written pattern I will send you a message. I love charts! Charts are my language 🙂 I’m sure if you look closer you will understand to: the chart say how many chains you need and where every dc goes.
