star stitch

How to knit the start stitch is a fun and easy project to make. It was love at first sight when I discovered this stitch and even though it looks intricate is very simple to do. I love the texture of these little knots, it’s resemble stars. I think this pattern works very well for sweaters, jackets, throws, pillow covers, and baby blankets.

For this stitch I recommend a DK yarn (I think light colors will reveal the stitch very beautifully) and 4,5-5mm needles.
