How to knit Fern Lace Stitch- free pattern

This pattern is easy to work and the result is a fancy textured stitch that looks great for summer, autumn or spring projects.

Abbreviations:

K= knit;

P= purl;

yo= yarn over;

k3tog= knit 3 together;

sk2po= slip 2 st, knit 2 sts together, pass slipped st over;

St= stitch;

RS= right side;

WS= wrong side.

Cast on multiple of 16 stitches:

Row 1 (RS): *K9, yo, k1, yo, k3, sk2po*, repeat *-*;

Row 2 and every WS rows: Purl;

Row 3: *K10, yo, k1, yo, k2, sk2po*, repeat *-*;

Row 5: *K3tog, k4, yo, k1, yo, k3, yo, k1, yo, k1, sk2po*, repeat *-*;

Row 7: *K3tog, k3, yo, k1, yo, k9*, repeat *-*;

Row 9: *K3tog, k2, yo, k1, yo, k10*, repeat *-*;

Row 11: *K3tog, k1, yo, k1, yo, k3, yo, k1, yo, k4, sk2po*, repeat *-*;

Row 12: Purl;

Repeat these 12 rows.
