How to crochet a textured mini Doily

This crochet textured mini doily is perfect for a minimalist house decor or just to be a part of your crochet doily collection. Doilies can be used as decoration on coffee tables, even framed as beautiful wall art or even you can stretch them across a hoop to make a dreamcatcher.

This free crochet doily pattern is perfect if you need to make something  quick for you or for your friends. It takes less then a hour to crochet it, you need a small quantity of yarn and the final project looks so beautiful! This free crochet Doily is made  with crochet thread and that makes this Doily design very delicate.

For my doily I’ve used 20 g cotton  and a 2 mm hook. Here you can find your favorite color:  so you can crochet this doily in any color you love.

Start with a magic ring.

1. Round 1: ch 2, 11 dc s.s in first dc of the round,

2. Round 2: 12 bpsc;

3. Round 3: ch 3, * 1 dc, 1 ch in next bpsc of previous round*, repeat *-* until the end f the round, s.s;

4. Round 4: (ch 3, 1 fpdc ) in “ch 3” of previous round, 1 ch,1 dc in next dc of previous round, 1 ch; * (1 fpdc, 1 ch, 1 fpdc ) in next dc of previous round, 1 ch, 1 dc in next “dc” of previous round, 1 ch*, repeat *-* until the end of the round, finish with a s.s;

5. Round 5: (ch 2, 1 fpdc) in the same stitch, 3 dc in 1 ch of previous round, 2 fpdc tog in next fpdc of previous round, 1 ch, 1 dc in next dc of previous round, 1 ch, * 2 fpdc tog in next fpdc of previous round, 3 dc in 1ch of previous round, 2 fpdc tog in next fpdc of previous round, 1 ch, 1 dc in next dc of previous round, 1 ch*, repeat *-* until the end of the round, finish with a s.s;

6. Round 6: ch 2, 3 dc, 1 fpdc in next “2 fpdc tog” of previous round, 1 ch, 3 fpdc in next dc of previous round, 1 ch, *1 fpdc in next “2 fpdc tog” of previous round, 3 dc, 1 fpdc in next “2 fpdc tog” of previous round, 1 ch, 3 fpdc in next dc of previous round, 1ch*, repeat *-* until the end of the round, finish with a s.s;

7. Round 7: (ch 2, 1 fpdc) in the same stitch, 3 dc,2 fpdc tog in next “fpdc” of previous round, 1 ch, (2 fpdc in next fpdc of previous round) 3 times, 1 ch, *2 fpdc tog in next “fpdc” of previous round, 3 dc, 2 fpdc tog in next “fpdc” of previous round,  1 ch, (2 fpdc in next fpdc of previous round) 3 times, 1 ch*, repeat *-* until the end of the round, finish with a s.s;

8. Round 8: ch 2, 2 dc, ( 1 dc, 1 fpdc) tog, 1 ch, 2 fpdc in next fpdc of previous round, 2 fpdc tog in next 2 fpdc of previous round, 3 ch, 2 fpdc tog in next 2 fpdc of previous round, 2 fpdc in next fpdc of previous round, 1 ch, *(1 fpdc, 1 dc) tog, 1 dc, (1 dc, 1 fpdc) tog, 1 ch,  2 fpdc in next fpdc of previous round, 2 fpdc tog in next 2 fpdc of previous round, 3 ch, 2 fpdc tog in next 2 fpdc of previous round, 2 fpdc in next fpdc of previous round, 1 ch*, repeat *-* until the end of the round, finish with a s.s.

9. Round 9: ch 2+ 2 fpdc tog, 1 ch, 2 fpdc in next fpdc of previous round, 2 fpdc tog (first fpdc in next  fpdc of previous round and the second in next 2 fpdc tog of previous round), 2 ch, (1 dc, 1 ch) 5 times in 3 ch space, 1 ch, 2 fpdc tog (first fpdc in next 2 fpdc tog and the second in next fpdc of previous round), 2 fpdc in next fpdc of previous round, 1 ch,  *3 fpdc tog, 1 ch, 2 fpdc in next fpdc of previous round, 2 fpdc tog (first fpdc in next  fpdc of previous round and the second in next 2 fpdc tog of previous round), 2 ch, (1 dc, 1 ch) 5 times in 3 ch space, 1 ch, 2 fpdc tog (first fpdc in next 2 fpdc tog and the second in next fpdc of previous round), 2 fpdc in next fpdc of previous round, 1 ch*, repeat *-* until the end of the round, finish with a s.s. continue making s.s until you reach the first “dc” of the round. This point will be the start for the next round.

10. Round 10: 2 ch, 8 dc, 2 ch, 2 fpdc tog (first fpdc in next 2 fpdc tog and the second in next fpdc of previous round), 2 fpdc in next fpdc of previous round, 1 ch, skip “3 fpdc tog” of previous round, 2 fpdc in next fpdc of previous round, 2 fpdc tog (first fpdc in next  fpdc of previous round and the second in next 2 fpdc tog of previous round), 2 ch, *9 dc, 2 ch, 2 fpdc tog (first fpdc in next 2 fpdc tog and the second in next fpdc of previous round), 2 fpdc in next fpdc of previous round, 1 ch, skip “3 fpdc tog” of previous round, 2 fpdc in next fpdc of previous round, 2 fpdc tog (first fpdc in next  fpdc of previous round and the second in next 2 fpdc tog of previous round), 2 ch*, repeat *-* until the end of the round, finish with a s.s.

13. Round 13: *(ch 3, 1 sc in next dc of previous round) 16 times, skip 2 ch space of previous round, ch 3, 1 sc in “3 fpdc” of previous round, ch 3, 1 sc in next dc of previous round*, repeat *-* until the end of the round.
