The dimensions of my Textured baby blanket are 80 cm length x 70cm width (31.5 inches x 27.5 inches).
For my Textured baby blanket, I’ve used 400 g Pure cotton fine (8 x 50 g) (50g= 170m/ 1.76oz= 185 yards) and a 3,5 mm crochet hook.
This is a very high-quality cotton yarn. This yarn is made from 100% combed Turkish cotton, which is soft, flexible, and exceptionally durable. Textiles in Turkish cotton stay beautiful for many years and only get softer with use. This yarn also excels when it comes to its absorbing powers, but is quick-drying at the same time. The color chart includes plenty of gorgeous colors, you just have to decide what color you like and get started. Here you can buy this yarn:

The edge for the Textured baby blanket:
Round 1: ch1, sc in the same stitch, and continue crocheting sc in every stitch (or an sc for every row and 3 sc for the corners), then sl st to finish the round.
For round 2 start with a ch, sc in the same stitch and continue crocheting sc in every stitch, when you reach the corners crochet 5 sc: 1 sc in the first stitch crocheted in the corner of the previous round, 3 sc in the second stitch of the previous round and 1 sc in the last stitch of the previous round.
For round 3 repeat round 2, but for the corners crochet the sc this way: sc in each next 2 sc of the corner of the previous round, 2 sc in the 3rd stitch of the previous round, and sc in each next 2 sc of the corner. So for each corner, you have to have 6 sc.
Tie off and weave in the ends.
You can wash it by hand or in a washing machine at 30 degrees. So if you’ve used the yarn I’ve recommended for this project you can iron the Summer crochet baby blanket. If you’ve used another yarn read the label for the instructions. But if you’re not sure just block it using your favorite method.
