For this fingerless mittens I’ve used a mix of 50% cotton and 50% linen yarn (50g) and 3mm hook.

For this pattern you have to make multiple of 6 chains plus 1.
Repeat rows 3-6 until you reach the desired length, for my mittens I’ve crocheted 17 rows, but you can make them longer or shorter if you want.
How to assemble it:
Fold the rectangular that you just crocheted into half, sew the edges together, but leave a space for the thumb.
You can leave it like that or you can crochet a few rows of double crochet for the thumb. In the image below you can see how I did it:
